Reasonable Adjustments

Did you know that if a disability or lifelong condition has an impact on how you’re able to do your job, there is a Government Scheme in place to support your employer putting reasonable adjustments in place.

An example for a physical disability may include things such as ramps or accessible toilets. For things like neurodiversity and other invisible conditions, it may be things like access to specialist software, or consideration about where your desk is placed to reduce distractions.

The scheme is administered by DWP and further details are available here.

If you are an employer and you would help some help or advice on applying for Access to Work support, for a fee this is something that I can help with.

If you are a business owner and you have a disability or invisible condition that impacts your ability to work, you may be able to get Access to Work support to help yourself.
