The human brain is as diverse as the human fingerprint.

Neurodiversity is an umbrella word that covers a range of conditions that affect the way people process information and think. This includes:

  • autistic spectrum conditions (ASC) (often referred to as ASD – autistic spectrum disorder)
  • attention deficit disorder/attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADD/ADHD)
  • dyspraxia (DCD)
  • dyslexia, dyscalculia and dysgraphia
  • Tourette’s and other tic conditions

It can also include the cognitive effects of stress and anxiety and chronic fatigue conditions amongst others, such as brain fog and memory issues.

I have always known that while I am bright, have great communication skills and a passion for tackling social and other inequalities, I am also clumsy, a bit messy and disorganised and easily distracted. This has been a problem for me for all of my life – but getting a diagnosis of dyspraxia when I was 62 was a game-changer.

I now specialise, and love, working with people with neurodiverse conditions. Find out how I can work with you, your business, or your employer.
